Effect of irish potato famine on rock and roll?

writing a paper on the effect of the potato famine on culture, immigration and rock and roll. Im having a really hard time finding stuff for rock and roll. I already know about the bands Black 47 and U2. If you have any good sites or information for culture or immigration that would be awesome too! Thanks!|||look up flogging molly|||...it was 100 years before rock and roll so all the effects are more like long term effects of effects. like, for instance, the potato famine led to an increase of irish immigration to new york city, helping to make the city a melting pot and an entertainment capital which attracted musicians especially post world war II, making it one of the key cities in the transition from blues and rhythm and blues into rock and roll. i mean, that chain that i just laid out might as well lead to kevin bacon, but seriously, rock and roll and the potato famine are 100 years apart. no one who participated in rock and roll was alive during the potato famine.
