What political/social/economic issues influenced rock and roll music?

I need three examples. The ideas I have so far are slave music and or blues rock? I am so stuck any help/examples would be greatly appreciated!|||War is a big factor in music like all the anti war songs of the mid and late 60's against the Vietnam war.|||As of late, I've noticed lots of punk/alternative bands being influenced by political issues - mainly war. I'm not so sure if it'll answer your question all too well, but bands such as Anti-Flag and Strike Anywhere focus largely on politics and the way the government has a horrible habit of lying to people. Bands like Bikini Kill and Bratmobile as well as Heavens to Betsy (they were Riot Grrrl bands back in the 90s) wrote and focused largely on people's view of women. It was both political and a social commentary.

So really.. it depends on what is important to a musician; what they feel strongly about and want to get across in their music.|||Vietnam War influenced psychodelic 60's rock.

Iraq War influenced the liberal-punk (Green Day, RATM) movements.

PMRC (Parents Music Resource Center, founded by Tipper Gore, who's mission was basically to censor music that they found offensive) influenced RATM and other Anti-Censorship musicians.|||There can be many issues that influence music. Some I can think of are social inequality, war, injustice in general, personal freedom, and government control.|||The Vietnam war (Country Joe, Doors, Rolling Stones), apartheid ( Stevie Wonder, Peter Gabriel),

poverty- ( George Harrison, U2)
