What is the devil's favorite rock and roll album?

You know that the devil loves rock and roll -- hell, he created it, didn't he? I think that he probably enjoys John Lennon's first solo album, "Plastic Ono Band." Or maybe Leonard Cohen's "Songs of Love and Hate."|||Honestly, I don't know. I'll ask him the next time I talk to him.

I just hope he's over that Duran Duran phase.|||I'm going to say Huey Lewis %26amp; The News's multi-platinum album, "Fore!" which debuted in 1986. Their early work was a little too New Wave for my taste, but when "Sports" came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '87, Huey released this, Fore!, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to Be Square," a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.|||1. "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world鈥攖he cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does鈥攃omes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever."

I John 2:15-17

"You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that the spirit he caused to live in us envies intensely? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

"God opposes the proud

but gives grace to the humble."

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
