Should Rap and Hip Hop Music and Rappers be allowed in The Rock and Roll, Hall of Fame?

My opinion is no. Rap and Hip Hop is not rock and roll but another form of music all together different. One might ask if that is the case than why is soul music and artist going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? That is because in my opinion soul can really rock but I am sorry Rap needs a place of its own. My respect for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will go down the toilet if rap music and Rappers get the nod. My opinion. What do you think?|||There is as much difference between Rap and Rock as there is between Rock and Big Band music.

Most Rappers will tell you that their music is a totally different form from Rock; and I don't see why we shouldn't take them at their word. Let Rappers set up their own Hall of Fame. But to include them in the R %26amp; R Hall is unwarranted (in my opinion).|||personally, i can't stand rap. people say it was ok once, but it has no place next to rock. if you too LL cool J into hot topic and put him in front of the wall of t-shirts, then asked him if he knew what they were here's what his answer would be: "nah dog, but i think i see lil' wayne over there". Rap is everywhere. it's plastered all over yahoo, tv, and everywhere else.now it's become an infection we can't get rid of. a disease. to answer your question...i agree, but my respect for the rock and roll hall of fame would go where my respect for rap is, and the people that think it's so amazing. it would go down the toilet, into a rats mouth, out it's ***, to the cesspool, then to the rotten part of hell Satan disposed of long ago....|||Rap should have its own Hall of Fame.
