How do stars get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

Im doing a project and i was wondering how stars get into the rock and roll hall of fame. 3 senteces plezzz|||The process outlined above is true however it has been alleged in the past that the voting has been ignored in favor of inducting bigger name artists.

The Rock Hall suffers from the same problem as all halls-of-fame do. Once the immortals, the ones we can all agree on have been inducted then it becomes political.
