Any good rock and roll songs of today ?

I have a history project and the assignment is to pick a rock and roll song from the 1950's , then one from today and compare and contrast them . I found a TON of songs from the 1950's but when i set search for one from today i found nothing . It seems like rock and roll just ended in the 80's and 90's , i need some help , what are some good rock and rolls artists or albums or songs from today's day and age ?|||The Stray Cats are the only current RnR band that i know of ~
